Interview with John McCain where he blatantly lies again. McCain claims that while he was a POW that he would recite the defensive lineman of the Steelers to the North Vietnamese captures. It is a nice story, especially when you are looking for votes in Pittsburgh. There is one problem: he was a POW from 1967 through 1973, the famed defensive line for the Steelers didn't have their first player until 1969, they were named the Steel Curtain in 1971, didn't win their first Super Bowl until 74. Another problem, McCain made the same claim in his book but strangely it was a little team from Green Bay Wisconsin that he used in that story. Is he lying or just can't remember? The world may never know. Could John McCain be lying just to get votes? See the link below and watch the interview, do a little research and see that it doesn't add up. If this was Obama, the Press would crucify him.
No couldn't be that he lies, he was a POW. The kiddy gloves that press treats John McCain is ridiculous. Going after Wesley Clark for making a valid claim that being a POW does not automatically make you qualified to be President.
